Operating internationally, ŞakÇa offers custom-made designs for athletes in Latin, Standard, and Show Dance categories, with services covering every step of the process—from concept sketches and fabric selection to fittings and stage delivery.

Founder & Creative Director
Başak is a multidisciplinary designer whose creative universe bridges architecture, fashion, and performance. With a professional background in architecture and years spent as a competitive dancer and coach, she brings an insider’s perspective to the stage—one that blends spatial intelligence with the emotional language of movement.
Having lived the rhythm herself, Başak founded ŞakÇa to create costumes that go beyond aesthetics: each piece is designed to move with the dancer, to amplify presence, and to embody the energy of the performance. Her designs are rooted in artistic intuition, technical mastery, and a deep sensitivity to form and expression. Whether it's the structural flow of a ballroom gown or the sparkle of a Latin dress, every detail is approached with intention.
From the first sketch to the final stitch, she directs the entire process with an architect’s precision and a performer’s soul—transforming every costume into a wearable performance.
